Clifton Digital Diaries (2007-ongoing)
Clifton Library staff and volunteers participated in digital story training which will enable them to commence a digital story creation project in partnership with local community groups and individuals. This ongoing project will record contemporary and historical digital stories as told by Clifton Shire residents.
The library will coordinate this ongoing project and will lodge a copy of each story in their collection for loan to other shire residents. The stories can also be viewed on this website.
The training opportunity was also extended to staff and volunteers from Highfields and Stanthorpe Libraries, who also gained digital media skills to support ongoing digital story projects in their own communities. The project was supported by the State Library of Queensland's Library Strategic Development Grant 2007.
